6 oz Speghetti cooked and 1 ea Onion, chopped
-drained 2 tbs butter or 1 c Tomatoes, cut up
-margarine 1 t Sugar
1/3 c Parmesan cheese, grated 1 t Garlic salt
1 c Cottage cheese
2 ea Eggs, beaten 1 cn (6 oz) tomato paste
1 lb Ground beef 1 1/2 t Oregano, crushed
1 ea Green pepper, chopped 1/2 c Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Stir butter or margarine into hot speghetti. Stir in parmesan cheese
and the eggs and place in bottom of large of casserole. Spread
cottage cheese over speghetti. Saute ground beef, onion and green
pepper in skillet until vegetables are tender. Drain of fat. Stir in
undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, and garlic salt.
Heat through. Turn meat mixture on top cottage cheese. Bake uncovered
for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Springle the mozzarella cheese on top
and bake 5 minutes longer until cheese melts.
